Accessory Mechanic (Aerospace)
Accessory MechanicPerform maintenance, overhaul and repair operations on APU accessories using appropriate tooling as required.
Requires working in various disciplines within the repair and overhaul shop.
Accessory Mechanic Duties:
Tear down, inspect, clean and rebuild APU accessories and other similar equipment Clean parts and assemblies as required Prepare documentation, including findings and test data Operate test equipment as required by the OEM maintenance manuals and other work instructions Light painting and touch up of assemblies as required Perform balance operations as required Read and interpret mechanical drawings Read, interpret and execute work instructions Follow all company policies including safety instructions Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor Maintain a neat and orderly workstation and promote overall good housekeeping practices Accessory Mechanic Requirements:
Minimum 2 years mechanical experience involving similar equipment, processes, measuring tools and assembly operations.
