Summary:
The Director of Continuous improvement or engineering (CI/CE) is an individual who develops execution strategies that result in improving customer satisfaction performance metrics, ease of manufacturability, optimizing product performance, maximizing cross platform applicability, and increasing market share through enhancing design & serviceability.
A Continuous engineering director is not only highly competent and capable in product design, engineering development planning, and product/solutions implementation to ensure performance and process development, but also as a leader who drives the CE initiatives focused on product optimization and customer satisfaction requirements.
A successful Director of CE/CI has a depth of process improvement experience in engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, including several years of experience leading and executing process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma and other continuous improvement principles.
This role builds processes for engineering change order in conjunction with manufacturing (DFM) and field engineering (install and service).
Additionally, this role requires hands-on knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with a preference for electric vehicles.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Design, develops, and implements hardware and firmware test bench procedures for systems design validation.
o Understands and identifies certification requirements provided by project management or engineering team.
Capable of deciding what procedures are required to release revision and meet certification criteria.
o Analyzes and investigates major software revision metrics, understands system architecture key performance indicators for the given test requirement.
o Defines design specifications and parameters for testing criteria.
o Coordinates with hardware engineers to resolve hardware/software compatibility and interface considerations.
o Interfaces with other departments to participate in specification, design, code, and test reviews.
o Provides documentation of software performance through testing procedures.
o Follows and contributes to improvement of the software development process, providing evidence through test historical data.
o Provides timely hardware engineering support and problem resolution.
o Interfaces with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications; provides maintenance information relating to required maintenance for service organization.
o Produces timely test status reports and projections.
o Develops and tracks objectives and schedules.
o Participates in project planning and timeline management.
o Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree (B.
S.
) in mechanical or electrical engineering.
o Eight years related experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
