We need YOU! As a Seeds Process Supervisor for our Agricultural Solutions business unit, you will build a meaningful career while supporting BASF's Maricopa (Arizona) site.

During your time as a Seeds Proccess Supervisor Maricopa you will Oversee day to day operations in packaging and/or de-linting plant, maintain dryer temperatures and the monitoring of de-linting equipment and set and maintain gravity tables and seed cleaners.
Manage the plant monitoring programs and follow standard operating procedures (SOP's) as they apply to the various processes of the facility, operate and manage automatic seed samplers to make sure seed counts are accurate and oversee day to day seed count and packaging operation in plant.
Manage variety cleans throughout both plants to ensure they meet SOP's, lead by example so that the safety culture is continuously maintained and improved and maintain housekeeping practices through industry leading philosophies.
Monitor quality of seed (Immatures, Cracks, and Seed Color), adjust and monitor color sorter for optimal sorting for quality standards and general repairs, baggers, treater, palletizer and other pertinent equipment during the season and during maintenance off season.
Manage all inventory counts of chemicals, bags, and raw goods to accurately reflect SAP consumptions, assist in other areas of the site as needed or other tasks as directed by management and operate and maintain all safety rules and regulations as set by BASF and plant management.
Review and confirm information reported is correct and accurate, troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs accordingly, lead team meetings for shift change, cleaning, maintenance, and regulatory topics and communicate verbally or in writing to management status of production, project, or function.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent If you Have a High school diploma or equivalent.
Possess a minimum of 1 year experience in seed production, ginning, and seed conditioning and/or relevant farm/mechanical experience.
Are able to work rotating shifts.
Are capable of lifting 50 pounds and ability to drive a forklift and are able to work at heights on an elevated platform or a platform lift.
Are able to provide direction to team members for task accomplishment, possess the ability to mentor new employees in facility processes as well as the ability to review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
